THE ROOM IS SPLIT INTO TWO HALVES FOR THIS ACTIVITY

1. Take a source each, read through and answer the questions

2. Move round your half of the room - find your group... Middle Ages, Industrial Revolution (include 1919), Weimar Republic

3. Share your knowledge from all of your sources. Write a joint statement from your group:
"OUR TIME PERIOD, THE _________, CONTRIBUTED TO THE ANTI-SEMITISM OF GERMANY BY.... (give the explanation, the evidence and the source). 


4. You will all present your statement to the whole class. They will try and make notes - no questions, repeating or pausing. There will be two chances of course (from each group) but listen fast - the next activity will be done on your own.

Sign up and create a mind map. In the centre have 'Roots of Anti-Semitsm'. You should now create a dense mind map using the work you completed today that demonstrates the history behind the hatred of Jews. This will be very difficult for you unless you worked effectively as a group.
